What Is Your Story

There is a story behind every organizer of a nonprofit.  It may be your own story, something that occurred in your environment or community, it may be a story of a close friend or loved one.  What ever your reasoning behind starting a non-PROFIT, whether personal, greed or business, you have to admit that this organization is for the people.  You do not own this this organization, but instead designed it to become a gateway to empower a people, a community, etc.

With so many people in need, and so many issue we face on a day to day basis, then why is your organization suffering?  Undoubtedly there is a need for your service(s), mentorship, program and/or curriculum.  There is many donors, philanthropist and grantor's available at your disposal, right?  If this is true, then why can't you stay afloat and survive this current down current in the economy.  Budgets are being cut, programs are being put to a halt and staff are over worked and under paid. I know silently you are shaking your head in agreement.  The fear of a failed attempt is present.  You may even be burned out.

The feeling is one that many with successful organizations have experienced, throughout the building of their programming.  It is nothing to be embarrassed or reluctant to speak about.  Like with anything else in our lives, we occasionally have to shift our mindsets, our beliefs and our wills to an ever changing world.  The one thing that will continue to remain the same, is the heart that continues to pump the reasoning, of why you started this journey in the first place.

It is here, that personal area of your life, that emotional spot that gets your fired up over and over again, that become your story.  This also becomes the meat of your proposals, your fundraisers, your campaigns.  Your story is the reason why so many are failing in their organizations.  You have lost your heart.

For that reason alone, we have decided to get back to the basics.  We are committed to bringing the foundation of proposal writing to your organization FREE of charge.  For one hour, we will teach you several techniques, that will help you get back on track.

Skeptical thinkers, ask questions.  Negative people doubt everything.  We welcome one, the skeptics.
